Welcome to the board, fellas. I have a Staff of Detect Good, which supposedly allows me to tell whether my target is a polymorpher. I don't know how strong or dependable my item-based power is, but I'm at least a partial seer. I admit I'm also convinced that thralls will be in play in this game, but there's really nothing to do about it other than cross my fingers on my targeting.
So far I've checked out Edcrab on Day 1 and Wildcat on Day 2. Both of you guys showed up as Orcs. That's good enough for me.
Anyway, let's get some suspicions going. I don't know if examining the Lignisse/TS bandwagon will be productive since Lignisse wasn't in a guild, but if anything stuck out to either of you, do tell.

And for the sake of clarity, any discussion of "bad guys" refers to the adventurers, who are the mafia of this game, despite the fact that they're good-aligned and we're evil-aligned.

So I've been thinking about that Lignisse bandwagon. Her comments in between vote closing and narration, in particular, are standing out to me, because she sounded pretty damn confident about being an Orc. I can't think of any good reason she'd have to lie about it at that point.
I'm going to float the idea that one of the powers out there is to make somebody show up incorrectly in the results. This is an ability that has precedence in thorgot's previous game, where it caused considerable mayhem and hilarity. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see that it got carried over to this one.
In this line of thought, the following people publicly targeted Lignisse yesterday: crimsoncoyote, KrataLightblade, and Thetheroo.
I think it would be best not to go public with this suspicion yet. Let's see if we can gather more data here.

Hmm, that's a good point. That also throws Detect Good staffs a curveball because there's a chance that they have similar abilities to throw off alignment checks.

Incidentally, I'm apparently now packing a Wand of Forced Exchange. If more of us have one of those we can milk people for good items!

Oh, nifty. I'm assuming this means you lost your Wand of Blindness, yes? Who targeted you yesterday? Would be nice if we could figure out who has it now.

Heh. Looks like we need to keep an eye out for people with useful powers so we can take 'em.

The two people who targeted Edcrab yesterday were TehSpectre and Varcayn, so one of these guys has a Wand of Blindness now.

I targetted Quoth and ended up with this wand again, so she must've had the same thing. Also, some bastid swiped my ring of the Angel day one.

What did that do? I have reason to believe Cerebrim had a ring of some sort, and he was one of the first victims...

What did that do? I have reason to believe Cerebrim had a ring of some sort, and he was one of the first victims... Basically, if I targetted someone with the same win condition (in my case, kill all polymorphers) and they died from anything other than the vote, I died in their place but won the game regardless of the final outcome!

Oh, so did your ring get swapped out on Day 1 by the wand that you now have? Because if so, we can figure out who probably has the ring now.
